Improving & Enhancing the Lives of Black Children

Black Child Development (BCD) PDX is a community-based organization dedicated to the success and well-being of Black children. We strive to support children, families, child care providers, early childhood educators, and other professionals in Portland, Ore.

Our foundation is rooted in the fact that Black children need like-minded community members and allies to consistently work towards a better tomorrow. Together, we are the heart that brings Black children to the center of focus in our community.
